FAQs

How much do you charge?

Outsourced bookkeeping is generally charged at an hourly rate. This hourly rate will reflect how complex your accounting needs are.

πŸ“Š $60 per hour is an approximate starting point for basic bookkeeping.

πŸ“Š $150 flat rate for each BAS submission.Β

Some businesses will require more consistent bookkeeping – and we would suggest a monthly ongoing flat rate rather than an hourly rate for these clients.

What does 1 Hour Minimum mean?

We will schedule an ongoing convenient time for your requested services and charge for 1 hour minimum. If only 15 minutes of work can be completed the client will still be billed for 1 hour. It’s important for the client to have everything prepared for the scheduled time.

What’s the difference between a Bookkeeper and an Accountant? Do I need both?

A Bookkeeper focuses on the day to day transactions of a business, ensuring that data is accurate while an accountant focuses on the overall picture. Both services are a requirement for smooth business operations. An accountant may charge more than a bookkeeper, so it’s important to have each service completing the correct tasks.
